How do I receive my licence key?
As soon as your payment arrives we send the licence key, the download link and a setup guide by email – usually within a few minutes, within 24 hours at the latest. If needed, check your spam folder as well.
Do I get an invoice showing VAT?
Yes. Every order automatically comes with a proper invoice showing VAT – for companies and freelancers too.
Are there any shipping costs?
No. All licences are digital products and are delivered by email – there are no shipping costs and no parcel to wait for.
Which payment methods can I use?
Payment runs through the secure Shopify checkout. You will see which methods are available right before you complete your order.
Is this a subscription with recurring costs?
No. You pay once and receive a perpetual licence with no expiry date – no subscription and no monthly costs.
What is the difference between a Retail and a Volume licence?
A Retail licence can be moved to a new PC when you change computers. A volume licence comes from a volume licensing programme, is the cheapest option and stays tied to the first device it was activated on. Each product description says which type you are buying.
Can I transfer the licence to a new PC?
With Retail licences, yes: uninstall it, activate it again on the new machine, done. Volume licences stay tied to the first device they were activated on.
Can I cancel a licence I have already bought?
For digital content the right of withdrawal expires as soon as we begin delivery and you have expressly agreed to this. The details are in the cancellation policy. If a licence key does not work, we will of course take care of it.
How do I activate the software?
Download the software using the link provided, install it and enter the licence key – activation runs through the built-in Microsoft activation. A step-by-step guide is included with every delivery.
What if activation does not work?
Then simply get in touch with us – we will look into it and help until your software is running.
What does the N version of Windows mean?
N versions ship without a preinstalled Windows Media Player. The media features can be added later with the free Media Feature Pack from Microsoft – apart from that, N versions are identical to the regular edition.
Which language does the software run in?
The installation files contain all languages. You choose the display language during installation and can change it again at any time later.
